The Ciocana Court of Chisinau accepted the anticorruption prosecutors’ request to issue a warrant for the arrest of Veacealav Platon for a 30-day period in absentia after this didn’t serve the order to appear before the investigation body, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, Veaceslav Platon is investigated for the illegal takeover of Moldova-Agroindbank and its management for the benefit of an organized criminal group. The case is handled by the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office.
