Coal and wood for flood victims

The families affected by this summer's floods will receive by 500 kg of coal from the state reserve, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a Government Decision. The Hancesti District Council will be allocated 380 tonnes of coal (for 760 families), the Cantemir District Council – 3.5 tonnes (7 families), while the Ungheni District Council – 16.5 tonnes (33 families). The flood victims will also receive by 2 cubic meters of wood. The costs of over 1 million lei will be covered with money from the Government's reserve fund. The aid will be distributed when the recipients move to their new homes. The Cabinet also empowered the commission for flood cleanup to allocate financial resources for purchasing houses for the flood-hit families and for paying compensations to the owners of plots on which there have been built homes for flood victims. The ministers involved in the election campaign have been removed from the commission. They will be replaced by deputy ministers.
