Communist MPs do not give up boycott

The members of the Communist parliamentary group will continue to boycott the legislative body’s sittings, Sergiu Sarbu stated for Info-Prim Neo. “Something serious should happen for us to return to Parliament, like the resignation of the President or of the Government,” said the Communist MP. Sergiu Sarbu stressed that the new law that deprives the MPs who are absent from the sittings of Parliament or of the parliamentary commissions without reason from salary will not influence the Communist lawmakers. “It will be a serious blow, but democracy and the fight for justice cost. We will see,” he said. The Communists have boycotted the sittings since the start of the spring-summer session of the legislature.
