The National House of Social Insurance will pay compensations instead of tickets to health resorts that are free for persons who remained disabled as a result of war now that the House will pay pensions and social allowances to disabled veterans of the police force, IPN reports, quoting changes approved by the executive.
A sum of 10.778,5 million lei is to be allocated this year for purchasing tickets to health resorts for police veterans. A ticket costs about 7,500 lei on average. The beneficiaries will get this sum in compensation instead of free tickets to sanatoriums.
