The composition of the group of negotiators on behalf of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) has been modified. The party’s acting chairman Valeriu Strelet no longer forms part of the group.
The group of negotiators now consists of Liliana Palihovich, Valeriu Giletski, Chiril Lucinschi, Iurie Tap, and Ion Balan. Contacted by IPN, Chiril Lucinschi said the format of the group is permanently modified.
“Only Valeriu Strelet wasn’t included in the last composition. The move is aimed at strengthening the team. Everyone can contribute to these negotiations. Valeriu Strelet wanted other colleagues to also take part in the talks and see how they take place,” stated Chiril Lucinschi.
According to him, the decision was reached inside the party. “Yesterday we agreed three members, plus two substitutes,” said Lucinschi, noting that the members of the group can be replaced depending on the period and discussed themes.
