On the eve of the Victory Day celebrated on May 9, a concert with the participation of the Russian singers Oleg Gazmanov and Denis Maidanov will be staged in the central square of Chisinau under the aegis of President Igor Dodon. The concert in the evening of May 8 will be followed by fireworks, IPN reports.
In a posting on Facebook, Igor Dodon wrote that the traditional Victory march will be mounted on May 9 and he will take part in this. The marchers will go from the Great National Assembly Square up to the Memorial Complex “Eternity”.
The participants in the march are asked to carry photos of heroes killed in battle.
