The Congress of the Moldovan Diaspora in Russia is organizing information seminars on the migration legislation of Russia, which will last until April 30.
The organization’s leader Alexandr Kalinin, who teaches the seminars, told a news conference at IPN that he speaks to the potential migrants about the need to legalize documents for staying legally in Russia, about the possibilities of getting a job and how conflicts with the police and fines and bans can be avoided.
According to Alexandr Kalinin, the Moldovans do not know much about Russia’s migration legislation. Besides these seminars, the Congress of the Moldovan Diaspora in Russia also prepared leaflets with useful information for the migrants, which are distributed in Moldova and Russia.
Offices of the legal service of the Congress of the Moldovan Diaspora work in Moscow and in Balti. They provide free consultancy about the rules of stay and work in Russia. The organization’s official website furnishes information about the changes made to the migration legislation of Russia.
