Constitutional Court to convene Sept. 27

The Constitutional Court will come together for a meeting on September 27 at the request of judge Victor Puscas, Info-Prim Neo reports. “I have talked to the Court’s chairman this morning and asked that he call an extraordinary meeting today, but he said the issue will be discussed when he returns from the trip he set for September 28. I told him to convene a meeting tomorrow if today is not possible. The chairman took a decision on the last moment and announced a meeting for tomorrow, starting at 10.00,” judge Victor Puscas has told Info-Prim Neo. Victor Puscas demanded that the Constitutional Court chairman Dumitru Pulbere resign or he will request the Court to dismiss him. The request came after Dumitru Pulbere last week said the legislative body must be dissolved by September 28 as all the decision adopted after this day will be considered unconstitutional.
