Contest of pictures for youth

Persons younger than 21 are invited to a contest of the best photographs of the cultural, historic and natural heritage of Moldova. The deadline for applications is April 25, Info-Prim Neo reports. The contest forms part of the International Monuments Photographic Experience program and is organized by the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History in cooperation with the Culture Division of the Centru District Head’s Office and the Exhibitions Center “Constantin Brancusi”. In a communiqué, the National Museum of Ethnography and Natural History says that the contest is open to young people that have pictures related to the artistic thematic of the competition. The works can be presented on portable memory devices or in printed format 18 x 24. According to the quoted source, the best photographs will be displayed at a national exhibition set up at the Exhibitions Center “Constantin Brancusi”, while the best two works will be recommended for display at the international exhibition held at the Palace of Europe in Strasbourg, France. They will be also published in the famous catalogue “XIV-e Experiénce Photographique Internationale des Monuments 2009/ XIV International Heritage Photographic Experience 2009”.
