Contest of projects for Small Grants Program of SDC

The Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) is launching a contest to select projects in the areas of activity of the SDC in Moldova, such as health, water and sanitation, migration and development, within the Small Grants Program. There are also invited cultural projects that promote and disseminate new ideas and contemporary techniques and views in arts and culture, on topical issues for Moldovan society, IPN reports.

Priority will be given to projects that directly or indirectly promote innovation, tolerance, social inclusion, diversity, communication and understanding between ethnic groups from the country and the dialogue between the rural population and the urban one. SDC will finance project proposals submitted by nongovernmental and commercial organizations, professional associations and unions, local offices of international organizations, public institutions, including education ones, and by the local and central authorities.

The projects will last for at most 12 months, while in exceptional cases for 18 months. The minimum value of a grant will be 2,000 Swiss Francs, while the maximum one - 30,000 CHF. The deadline for applications is September 15, 2015, 6pm. The project conceptions can be sent to chisinau@eda.admin.ch, with the title “Project conception Small Grants Program”.
