The Broadcasting Coordination Council has announced a contest to allot three radio frequencies, namely 71,66 MHz Leova and 103,6 MHz Soroca, distributed with the contest of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, and 106,0 MHz Floresti.

Head of the Council’s Licensing and Authorization Division Lidia Viziru has told IPN that the holder of the license for the frequency in Floresti didn’t ask for renewal when the period of validity of the frequency expired. A contest was thus announced to distribute this frequency.

The applications to take part in the contest are submitted during 30 days of the publication of the Council’s announcement in the Official Gazette. Afterward, during 20 days, the Council analyzes the files and announces the contest results.
