The Ministry of Culture launched a contest to finance cultural projects of public associations from the state budget in 2017. The budget allocations earmarked for the contest total 2 million lei, IPN reports.
The selection commission will analyze such criteria as the cultural importance and topicality of the project, meeting of the objectives of the national culture development strategy and the project’s social importance.
The application must be accompanied by the cultural project, information about the incomes and costs, the CV of the project director, proof of the existence of the financing or resources provided by third persons and other documents that are indicated on the Ministry’s website. If the organization was created during the last two years, the copies of the annual financial reports and certificates showing absence of debts to the budget and of overdue obligations will be presented for these years.
The deadline for applications is October 15, 2016.
