Contest to select judge at ECHR announced

The Ministry of Justice has announced a contest to choose candidates for the post of judge at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). The contest is held in accordance with a Government Decision. Applications can be filed by June 15, 17:00, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Ministry. Details about the contest are available on the Ministry’s website www.justice.gov.md. The post of judge at the ECHR fell vacant after former judge Mihai Poalelungi was named president of the Supreme Court of Justice on February 16.
