A couple from Chisinau was sentenced to ten and, respectively, eight years in prison for robbing a man, leaving him without 2,500 lei. The sentence was passed by the Chisinau City Court, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, claiming that the woman will offer sexual services for money, the partners planned to rob potential clients. A man fell into their trap and came to the apartment where the woman invited him. Her partner attacked him and took the money this had on him – 2,500 lei.
The sentence is not final and can be appealed within 15 days to the Chisinau Court of Appeals.
