Couple stands trial for procuring

A woman aged 27 and her 31-year-old partner will be tried for making young women to prostitute themselves, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Prosecutor General’s Office, in 2009 and then in 2011 the two convinced four young women to prostitute themselves. One of the girls was underage, while another one was pregnant. The young women were lured by promises that they will make money. They provided sexual services for money in apartments rented by the coupe and in the apartment where they lived. Initially, the incomes were halved. Afterward, the procurers started to take all the money and two of the girls ran away. The procurers said the accused woman also had sex for money. The case is judged by the Rascani district court.
