Dacia remain leaders in National Division

Dacia Chisinau have remained the leaders of the Moldovan football premiership after beating Gagauziya Comrat 4-1 in a Round 14 game on Sunday. The man of the match was Georgian midfielder Levan Korgalidze who scored three goals, Info-Prim Neo reports. Reigning champions Sheriff Tiraspol climbed to the second place having defeated local rivals FC Tiraspol 3-0. Iskra-Stal Rybnitsa also obtained a categorical victory over Dinamo Bender, 4-0. Striker Alexandru Popovici scored a double to become the National Division's current top scorer. Milsami Orhei seemed to have ended their bad phase after beating Rapid Ghidighici 3-0. In two other matches of Round 14, Nistru Otaci won 1-0 against FC Costuleni, and Zimbru Chisinau won, albeit with difficulty, the match against lowly placed St. Gheorghe Suruceni, 2-1.
