The Ambassador of Denmark to Moldova with residence in Bucharest Michael Sternberg completed his diplomatic mission in the country. On this occasion, Moldova’s President Nicolae Timofti had a meeting with the diplomat on June 20, IPN reports.
According to the presidential press service, the head of state expressed his satisfaction with the bilateral relations between Moldova and Denmark and thanked the Danish authorities for the support provided in the European integration of Moldova.
For his part, Michael Sternberg welcomed the results achieved by the Moldovan authorities within the Eastern Partnership and the pending signing of the Association Agreement with the EU, on June 27.
Michael Sternberg was named Ambassador of Denmark to Romania and Moldova on June 1, 2011.
