Deadly weekend for three persons

Three persons were killed and one young man was seriously injured in the fires that occurred over the weekend. Dorina Cruc, spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the body of a 54-year-old man was found in his home in Limbenii-Noi village of Glodeni district. The man fell asleep with the lit cigarette, which caused a fire. A 87-year-old woman was killed in a fire in her house in Ustia village of Dubasari district. It was determined that the fire was caused by an electrical device. Another woman aged 69 died in a fire in Lucaceni village of Falesti district. Her bed clothes caught fire from the overheated stove. A 25-year-old man living in an annexe to the church in Tanatari village of Causeni district suffered serious burns on the hands when he tried to put out the fire in the three burning rooms. The cause of fire is being established. The 86 fires that happened in Moldova this year resulted in 16 deaths.
