The Communist MPs consider the leaving of the three lawmakers from the Communist parliamentary group - Igor Dodon, Zinaida Greceanyi and Viorica Abramchuc – represents betrayal and callousness. Some of them said they have a sense of déjà vu, referring to the defection of former lawmakers Vladimir Turcanu, Victor Stepaniu and others, Info-Prim Neo reports. Communist MP Grigore Petrenco said those who betray have the same fate – they will disappear from the Moldovan political arena in the nearest future. “In politics, the feeling of longing does not exist. It is their decision. I think it is a shameful act for a Communist and a party member. I have a sense of déjà vu. I saw the open letters of Mister Turcan, Stepaniuc and others. Now there was a modernization project. It is the same scenario and the same pretexts for justifying the betrayal,” he said. Another Communist MP Eduard Musuc said the news shocked him and he cannot understand why they left. “I do not understand this defection. It is not right. Vladimir Voronin promoted them, but they acted like coldhearted people. I consider things are not as simple as they seem,” he stated. Communist lawmaker Constantin Starysh said he thinks the aim of the defection is the declared one. He stressed the three MPs acted incorrectly and indecently. Igor Dodon, Zinaida Greceanyi and Veronica Abramchuc said they left the Communist Party in order to avoid early legislative elections and help elect the head of state, re-form the government and ensure political and economic stability in the country.
