The sending of summons by which citizens are invited to Local Military Centers has nothing to do with the security situation in the region. Such measures are taken constantly, the Ministry of Defense said following reports that the institution dismisses as manipulative, IPN reports.
In accordance with the procedure, the summing orders are sent to citizens of the Republic of Moldova in accordance with the Government decision of January 31, 2001 on the approval of the regulations concerning the administrative-military activity and the personnel of administrative-military units and in order to update the database of the Local Military Centers.
“We ask the citizens to be vigilant given that the attempts to manipulate and the speculations on the issue have intensified,” noted the Ministry of Defense.
