The Embassy of Romania in Chisinau announced that the joint commission will accept applications for filling the subsidized places available at Romanian colleges and universities for the 2015 – 2016 academic year in the period between July 17 and 31, IPN reports.
At the “Alecu Russo” University located at 38 Pushkin St in Balti, applications can be filed on July 18-21, from 9:30am until 1pm, and from 3pm until 6:30pm.
In Chisinau, at the Consular Section based at 2 Grigore Ureche St, applications can be submitted on July 23-27, between 9:30am until 1pm, and between 3pm until 6:30pm. To simplify the application procedure, the Embassy recommends the candidates whose family name starts with “A” to “M” to present themselves on July 23 and 25. Those whose family name starts with “N” to “Z” should come on July 24 and 26, while those who didn’t manage to file an applications on the recommended days for objective reasons can come on July 27.
In Cahul, at the “B.P. Hasdeu” University situated a 1 Piata Independentei St, applications will be accepted on July 29-31, from 9:30am until 1pm, and from 3pm until 6:30pm.
This year Romania offers Moldovan young people 5,000 places to study at Romanian colleges and universities.
