Some of the MPs consider the Filip Government has chances to be a long-lasting one, while others think it will be a short-lived one even if it’s voted in. Contradictory opinions on the issue were stated in the program “Moldova live” on Moldova 1 channel, IPN reports.

Liberal MP Veaceslav Untila said the citizens of Moldova will feel beneficial effects in half a year of the investiture of the Filip Government. “Pavel Filip has a rich experience. I discussed with him the government program, which is a very good one. I think in half a year the population will change its attitude to the government. We will have lower prices, including for energy resources,” he stated.

Stefan Creanga, one of the seven Liberal-Democratic MPs who signed in favor of Filip, called on his party colleagues to vote for the Filip Government. “The government must do what it promised to the voters, not contribute to early elections by yielding to the opposition. It is much more important to deliver our promises. The situation is very difficult and we are obliged to remedy it. We must have a Government and must unlock lending from outside,” he stated.

Socialist MP Vlad Batrancea said the Socialists will continue to protest and will make everything possible for early legislative elections to take place. “Many offenses were committed and those to blame must answer. Over 80% of Moldova’s population wants early elections, while over 90% do not want Plahotniuc. We will take measures and will exert pressure for the current government to leave. There must be competent and upright persons on the government,” he stated.
