More than 20 Moldovan organizations that support the persons with disabilities took part in a sale-exhibition staged in the hall of the Government Building on December 6, in connection with the International Day of the Persons with Disabilities that is marked on December 3, Info-Prim Neo reports. Rodica Saca, representative of the Permanent Secretariat of the National Council for Children’s Rights Protection, said that this is the third exhibition of the kind and the number of those who want to take part in it is on the rise. The limited area in the Government Building’s hall does not allow exhibiting all the things brought. Thus, every year there are represented new associations that did not participate earlier. According to Rodica Saca, any public institution can organize such events and offer more chances to the disabled persons who want to showcase their talents and earn some money for their works. The raised money is used by every association for the needs of their members. Mariana Morari, secretary of the Alliance of Organizations for Persons with Disabilities, said that organizations with a rich experience are taking part in the exhibition, which is an occasion for showing the abilities of the persons with disabilities, who are first of all humans. The exhibits included wooden articles, icons and decorative boxes, embroideries and crocheted objects, a wide range of decorative fir trees made from different materials, souvenirs and decorations.
