Doctors will tell patients about a healthy lifestyle

Specialists of preventive medicine and family doctors centers from 11 districts and from Chisinau will get involved in an awareness raising campaign themed “If you want to be healthy, take steps daily!". The campaign forms part of the Support to the Health Reform: Strengthening of Primary Health Care in Moldova Project, which is financed by the European Union, Info-Prim Neo reports. The two-month campaign is targeted at the family. The primary medical institutions will benefit from assistance in working out and implementing education and awareness raising programs. Polls show most of the questioned persons cannot say what a healthy lifestyle is. The implementation period of the €1.2 million Support to the Health Reform: Strengthening of Primary Health Care in Moldova Project is September 2008 - August 2010.
