Igor Dodon and Zinaida Greceanyi, lawmakers of the Communist Party (PCRM), Monday launched the Foundation “Solution”. According to them, the objectives of the Foundation “Solution” includes providing assistance to the residents of Chisinau municipality in dealing with problems involving municipal companies and the City Hall, continuing cleaning and laying out the quarters, and offering financial assistance to the underprivileged groups, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The Foundation “Solution” is a logical continuation of the proposals and requests that we collected during this year’s campaign preceding the mayoral elections in Chisinau. We want to find solutions to all the 200,000 applications gathered. All the inhabitants of Chisinau municipality can obtain free legal assistance over the problems they face in the relations with the municipal enterprises and the City Hall,” said Igor Dodon. He also said that the foundation will act as an instrument for direct cooperation with the residents of the municipality. “We have a majority of seats on the Chisinau Council, but need such a Foundation for direct cooperation with the people,” he stated. Igor Dodon said among the first steps of the Foundation is the implementation of the project “Let’s light our city” within which there will be lit the quarters and stairs in the municipality. “In April, May and June, support was offered for performing repair works in over 200 yards of apartment buildings in Chisinau. This practice will be continued,” said Zinaida Greceanyi. According to the two MPs, the Foundation “Solution” is apolitical even if it was founded by members of a party. They said that the Foundation’s funds will consist of donations. The Communist MPs said the initiative to launch the Foundation “Solution” and Igor Dodon’s previous project “I Love Moldova” were supported by the party’s administration and the press reports that the two pave the way for founding a separate party are not true.
