The chairman of the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) Igor Dodon invited Vlad Filat, Vlad Plahotniuc and Vladimir Voronin to a public debate before the November 30 legislative elections. He accused the leader of the Party of Communists (PCRM) Vladimir Voronin of becoming the ‘speaking trumpet’ of the Democratic Party (PDM) and warned him that he will disappear from the political arena if he does not form a center-left coalition with the Socialists, IPN reports.

“I want to make a call to the three Vlads: Voronin, Plahotniuc and Filat. Let’s take part together in an open electoral debate at any TV channel you want. Let’s discuss all the questions you have to us. We will ask you the questions put by the people as you are afraid to discuss with the people,” Igor Dodon said in a news conference.

According to the politician, the internal polls of the PSRM show the party will win at least 15 seats of MP. The parties of the current government coalition already lost the elections and will make effort to rig the voting. There were printed hundreds of thousands of ballots additionally, which will be used to fix the outcome. The government intentionally limits the access to voting of the Moldovan migrants from Russia and of the elderly people with Soviet-type passports so as to be able to rig the elections.

Igor Dodon also accused Vladimir Voronin of becoming the puppet of Democrat Vlad Plahotniuc. He warned his former party colleague that if he forms an alliance with the PDM and the Liberal Democratic Party, instead of forming a center-left coalition, the PCRM will disappear from the political arena and its place will be taken by the Socialists. In this conduction, the leader of the PSRM denied the accusations that the Socialists plan to destabilize the situation after the elections, saying the pro-European parties actually hatch the second ‘April 7’.

Igor Dodon underlined that the PSRM will monitor and film the voting process in every polling place so as to prevent election rigging and will do a parallel vote count when the poling places are closed.
