Dodon seeks dismissal of Negruta, Buliga, and Salaru

MPs Ion Ceban, Zinaida Greceanyi and Igor Dodon demand that Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta, Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Valentina Buliga, and Minister of Transport and Road Infrastructure Anatolie Salaru be dismissed, Info-Prim Neo reports. Igor Dodon, who is the chairman of the Party of Socialists (PSRM), told a news conference that the sectors of which the three ministers are in charge are managed inappropriately and, as a result, many people leave the country, while the companies barely cope with the large number of tax inspections. According to Igor Dodon, Moldova and its people are on the verge of a social precipice, while all the sectors of the national economy have witnessed declines over the last few months. The Ministry of Finance promoted a defective budgetary-fiscal policy. The projected economic growth is not real. Therefore, the Government must propose adjustments to the budget. Ion Ceban said the social policy pursued by the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family is discriminatory. He considers the nominal compensations should be restored, the social benefit should be raised by 20%, while the cold-month allowance to 500 lei a month. As to the situation in the road sector, Igor Dodon said the roads are in a worse state than before repaired. He also said that the contract for the renovation of passenger trains signed with Romania is not to Moldova’s advantage. If the contract is not respect, Moldova will have to pay penalties of €12 million. The lawmakers said they will continue to analyze the work of the ministries and will stage protests if the three ministers are not discharged.
