Dorin Purice, who until recently held the post of Head of the Border Police, was appointed as deputy minister of the interior. A decision to this effect was taken by the Cabinet on March 30, IPN reports.
In the same meeting, Minister of the Interior Alexandru Jizdan proposed dismissing Veaceslav Ceban from the posts of deputy minister and carabineer troops commander.
The Cabinet also named Alexandru Panzari as Head of the General Police Inspectorate for a five-year term.
