Minister of Finance Anatol Arapu said the 2015 draft state budget law is almost ready and is to be presented to the Government next week. Before being submitted to the executive, it will be discussed with trade unions and representatives of the business community, IPN reports.
The minister noted that now the draft law is being discussed with experts of the International Monetary Fund. The forecast by local experts that the economic development will slow down are plausible as the regional crisis affects Moldova too.
The state budget revenues are in danger owing to the 20% decline in imports in the first two months of this year. As a result, the planned import duties are not being collected. However, the amounts collected into the state budget are larger than in the corresponding period last year and all the cash transfers for paying salaries to budget-funded employees will be made within ten days.
