Driver and pedestrian killed in traffic accidents

Two persons lost their lives in road accidents in Moldova on Wednesday, November 11. Adrian Jovmir, the head of the General Police Commissariat' head office, has told Info-Prim Neo that the first fatal accident occurred near Ialoveni town at about 17.30. A VAZ car driven by a 49-year-old man struck and killed a woman aged 50, who was crossing the street. The second accident happened near Chetrosu village of Drochia district. A VAZ car driven by a 58-year-old man crashed into a truck. The driver died on the post, while the 54-year-old passenger suffered multiple injuries and was admitted to the reanimatology section of Drochia district hospital. A man aged 54 sustained different injuries after he was struck by a car on the bridge on Ismail St in Chisinau. The seven road accidents that happened in Moldova on Wednesday resulted in two deaths and six persons injured.
