A woman died after she was struck by a car in the center of Orhei town. The driver left the place of the accident, but was caught 40 minutes later on a local street. On June 9, the traffic police identified 471 violations of the traffic rules, fining ten persons driving under the influence, 43 drivers who traveled unbuckled and 84 speeding motorists.
