From April 1, motorists no longer have to switch the lights on during the day when travelling, IPN reports.
The drivers are obliged to travel with the lights on in the daytime between November and March, when visibility is poor. Studies showed that the drivers are more vigilant in traffic when the lights are on and the number of accidents is thus lower.
