A driving instructor from Edinet was arrested by officers of the National Anticorruption Center for asking €400 from a driver, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the Center.
The employee of the driving school asked the money in order to help the candidate to pass the driving test and to get the license. He was caught in the act of taking the money.
A criminal case was started against the instructor for passive corruption. He faces five to ten years in jail and a fine of 20,000 to 60,000 lei.
