Starting with the next year of study, dual education will be extended to universities. It will allow third- or fourth-year students, from specialties such as marketing and logistics, teaching, engineering or IT, to combine their studies with work in a company or organization. A decision to this effect was approved by the Cabinet, IPN reports.

“Ensuring the relevance of studies, including university studies, for the labor market is an important objective for the Government and for the Ministry of Education and Research. By approving the regulations on the organization and conduct of dual education in higher education, we will offer our students the opportunity to work in companies and to simultaneously learn, being salaried,” noted Minister Dan Perciun.

Dual education is currently applied in technical vocational education. Over 1,600 students of colleges and centers of excellence work and learn simultaneously.
