Efforts are underway to eradicate ticks and ragweed, Green Spaces director Serghei Carp told Monday’s Chisinau City Hall meeting.
Last week, a total area of more than two hectares was treated for Ambrosia in the city’s district of Râşcani. In Botanica, similar efforts were carried out at the Valea Trandafirilor Park.
“We react to every call, irrespective of whether it’s municipal territory or not. We do the treatment first and then figure things out”, said Serghei Carp.
Green Spaces are also looking out for hazardous trees. Last week, tree care teams worked in the National Stadium area, with Alunelul Park and the Afgan Park following up this week.
