Elections valid in Chisinau

About 35.3% of the voters in the municipality of Chisinau cast their votes by 15.00. The required voter turnout is 25% so that the elections can be considered valid, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the secretary of the Chisinau District Electoral Council Victor Pertu, more than 217,000 persons have voted in the capital city and its suburbs by 15.00.
The turnout in Chisinau’s Buiucani district was 36.5%, in Rascani - 36%, in Botanica – 35.8%, while in Centru and Ciocana - 35% and 32.7% respectively.
In the suburban settlements, the turnout of voters was 35.6%.
