Embassy of Germany invites to open-air concert with music from famous movies

The Embassy of Germany in Moldova will stage a new open-air summer concert in Chisinau on July 18. “As the Chisinau residents showed they are open to classical music, we decided to include music from famous movies, from western, west side story, James Bond, Harry Potter to Star Wars, in this concert, the Embassy's cultural attache Julia Kahrl told a news conference on July 13, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Woks by such musicians as Ennio Morricone, John Williams, Klaus Badelt, Hans Zimmer and Eugen Doga will be performed by the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic. Svetlana Bivol, the head of the National Philharmonic “Serghei Lunchevich”, said the organization of such concerts in Chisinau became traditional, while the Embassy of Germany is always ready to stage them. The concert will be given at the Summer Theater on Sunday, July 18, starting at 19.30. Entrance is free of charge.
