The European Union, through the Confidence Building Measures Program implemented by UNDP, will provide assistance to support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises on both banks of the Nistru. The amount of assistance is up to US$20,000 for each of the 20 selected initiatives, IPN reports.
The 20 entrepreneurs will benefit from equipment, services, mentoring, consultancy and study visits to launch or expand their business. The support will help create decent jobs on both banks of the Nistru.
Project proposals can be submitted until June 24, 2024, 01:00 p.m. The conditions for participation in the competition, as well as the criteria for the evaluation of project proposals are available on UNDP Moldova’s website. The online information session, where potential candidates will be able to ask questions about how to submit their files and the application form, will take place on June 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. To register, participants are asked to fill in a form in Romanian or Russian.
During 2019-2023, 39 entrepreneurs from both banks of the Nistru River were supported.
