On the Romanian Language Day marked on August 31, the residents of Bucharest are invited to donate books in Romanian to Moldovan schools. The event will take place at the Titan Park – Arts Park in Bucharest. Composer Eugen Doga is the event’s special invitee.
Interviewed by IPN, Eugen Doga said he is preparing for the concert that will be held in Bucharest. After the Romanian Language Day, he will leave for Krasnodar and then for the Czech Republic. “The artists are egoists. They like when they are admired and applauded,” stated the composer.
According to the event’s program, Eugen Doga will give his recital starting at 6:30pm, together with the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra. At 8pm, the concert will be continued by the Moldovan band “Zdob si Zdub”. The event will culminate with fireworks.
The event is supported by the Romanian Cultural Center “House of Arts”, which was founded and is financed by the Bucharest City Hall, sector 3.
