Moldsilva Agency has new director general. This is Victor Durbală, who was appointed at today’s meeting of the Cabinet. He is due to take office on April 25, IPN reports.
“Mister Durbală has rich experience in forestry as he worked as the deputy head of the Ghidighici Forest Administration of the Chisinau forestry enterprise. He served as a senior environmental inspector and hunting manager. He holds a PhD in Social Sciences, a Master’s degree in Biomedicine and Ecology, specializing in the management of forest resource and green spaces. I would like to note that Mister Durbală also has competences in local public administration, previously having successfully held the post of mayor of Ghidighici,” said Minister of Environment Sergiu Lazarencu.
The position of director of Moldsilva Agency remained vacant following the resignation tendered by Valeriu Caisîn on March 15.
At the same meeting, the Cabinet appointed Veaceslav Rapchinski as director-general of the Agency for Interethnic Relations, starting April 29. “Mister Rapchinski has rich professional experience. For more than 30 years, he had worked as a national expert in culturology, director of the cultural policy center, doctor in sociology, a university lecturer. He is the author of over 30 research articles in the field of cultural policies published in Moldova and abroad,” said Artur Mija, secretary general of the Government.
