Former Democratic MP Corneliu Dudnic during three years and a half had held a number of incompatible posts. The violation was ascertained by the National Integrity Authority, IPN reports.

It was determined that in 2015-2019, while serving as an MP, Corneliu Dudnic allowed a double state of incompatibility by holding two more posts – of first vice president of a sports federation and of manager of a limited liability company. Therefore, the integrity inspector established that having 30 days at his disposal to deal with the states of incompatibility, the former MP continued illegally to sit as an MP and held also the two posts.

If the ascertaining document remains definitive, the National Integrity Authority will ban the former MP from holding a public post and the elective post of MP for a period of three years. The integrity inspector notified the Prosecutor General’s Office of this case.

The ascertaining document issued by the Authority was challenged by Corneliu Dudnic in court.
