Thirty-three explosive devices dating back to the Second World War were found in Tipala village of Ialoveni district. They were transported to the training grounds in Bulboaca and destroyed, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Ministry of Defense.
Accordion to Lieutenant Colonel Alexandru Cuciuc, senior specialist of the National Army's bomb squad, the combat engineers in March and April were called to Stefan-Voda, Causeni, Anenii-Noi, Ungheni and Floresti districts, where there were discovered Soviet artillery shells, antitank mines and grenades.
The bomb squad of the National Army this year has neutralized 109 explosives found all over Moldova.
