The authorities warn the owners of clubs, restaurants and other public facilities not to neglect the epidemiological measures or they will be closed. During March 1-8, the police carried out cheeks at 264 nightclubs and drew up 247 contravention reports against visitors who were inside and also two reports against club managers and four reports against personnel of nightclubs, IPN reports.

The National Extraordinary Public Health Commission reiterates that the nightclubs are not allowed to operate. Under the Contravention Code, the private individuals who do not obey the pandemic prevention and fighting measures face a fine of 2,000 to 5,000 lei, while the legal entities of 10,000 to 35,000 lei.

If the Commission’s decision are violated again, the visitors risk fines of up to 25,000 lei, while the managers of facilities of up to 75,000 de lei.
