Father killed, son hurt in road accident in Stefan Voda district

A man died, while his son and another two passengers were injured in a car accident in Stefan-Voda district on October 3. The vehicle driven by the man’s son overturned into a ditch at the entrance to Talmaza village. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, Traffic Police Division inspector Dorin Capcelea said the driver was speeding. There were four persons in the VAZ car – the driver aged 23, his 46-year-old father and a woman and man both aged 53. The four were returning home from Stefan Voda town. Deputy mayor of Talmaza Anton Sirghi has told Info-Prim Neo that more accidents happened on that road because it is in a bad state. According to the Traffic Police Division, the ten serious road accidents that occurred in Moldova yesterday and last night resulted in one death and 16 persons injured. The persons involved in another 40 accidents were unhurt.
