A 54-year-old woman from Hagimus village of Causeni district was hit mortally by a vehicle. The woman was riding a bike when she was struck. The driver didn’t stop to help, but was shortly identified by the police, IPN reports.
Contacted by IPN, communicator of the Causeni Police Inspectorate Inga Petrov said the suspect is a man aged 41 from the same village.
The man is investigated outside jail. He faces four to eight years’ imprisonment.
