Fifty cyclists leave Chisinau for Vadu lui Voda

Fifty cyclists set off on a marathon from the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau this morning. The race will end on the beach in Vadu lui Voda town later today, Info-Prim Neo reports. “All the participants in the marathon will be winners. This action is designed to promote the Moldovan tourism. We hope that next year the number of cyclists will be larger and the race will be longer,” Minister of Culture Mihail Barbulat said. The cyclists will make two stops – in Goian and in Cosernita. The marathon will end at 14.00 on the beach in Vadu lui Voda, where the participants will enjoy an artistic and sports program. The tourist marathon also includes a seminar for cyclists on the development prospects of tourism in Moldova. The drive was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in cooperation with travel agencies.
