Filat regrets Focsa’s actions

Premier Vlad Filat expressed his regret at the deeds of Minister of Culture Boris Focsa, who ordered instituting special permits allowing access to the Ministry of Culture, which is situated in the Government’s Building. “I saw sequences of delicate situations involving the minister. I don’t think we should make associations between those situations and the Ministry’s work. But this gesture affects the image of the whole Government and I regret it,” Vlad Filat told the journalists during an event, Info-Prim Neo reports. The press reported that such an order is illegal, but the Premier said that there was committed no violation, but the minister probably does not know how access to the Government’s building is regulated. Last week, Boris Focsa refused to take a prize from the team of a private TV channel for escaping punishment for being caught driving under the influence. The journalists followed him from the hall where the Government held a meeting up to his office, putting him questions, but they were stopped by the guard.
