Finance minister summoned to Parliament

Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta was called to Parliament to report how the revenues are collected into the state budget. The call was made by the leader of the group of Socialists Igor Dodon in the February 23 sitting of the legislature, Info-Prim Neo reports. The MP said he received information from a number of medical institutions that the employees weren’t paid salaries. He asked that the ministry should come to Parliament to report on the collection of money into the budget and the payment of salaries and pensions. Unaffiliated lawmaker Mihai Godea said he possessed information that the teachers in a number of districts also did not receive the salaries. He also demanded that Veaceslav Negruta render a report.
