The Fire and Rescue Vehicles’ Caravan sets off from Calea Ieșilor St at 5pm on December 24. Twenty-six vehicles decorated with holiday lights will carry the magic of the Christmas holidays along the streets of Chisinau.
At about 7pm, the vehicles will reach the alley of the Ministry of the Interior where an event will be staged for the public from Chisinau and the guests of the capital city, press office of the General Inspectorate for Emergencies Liliana Pușcașu has told IPN. The children will receive presents from officers of the Ministry and will take part in contests. There will be held a recital of carols. Those who will want will take pictures near the fire and rescue vehicles.
After the event, a part of the vehicles will go to the Mother and Child Institute, while others to the Oncological Institute and will take presents to children admitted there.
The Fire and Rescue Vehicles’ Caravan is organized for the sixth consecutive year. This year, the number of vehicles will be higher as the caravan will involve volunteer rescuers and firefighters from Mereni and also motorcycles and ATVs.
The column will travel along the streets Calea Ieșilor, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt, M. Viteazul, Petricani, Calea Orheiului, Studenților, Moscovei, Alecu Russo, Mircea cel Bătrân, I. Dumeniuc, Mircea cel Bătrân, Alecu Russo, Kiev, Gr. Vieru, Bodoni, Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt.
On the next day, December 25, the Caravan will reach Cahul and Soroca.
