First defeats for Moldovan teams in Turkey

On Sunday, January 23, Moldovan teams suffered their first defeats in the friendly matches held as part of their training session in Turkey, Info-Prim Neo reports. Milsami Orhei lost 2-0 to Russian outfit SKA-Energhia Vladivostok, after conceding goals at the end of each half. This was Milsami’s third friendly fixture in Antalya. In the previous ones, they drew 0-0 with Metallurg Krasnoyarsk from Russia and bested 2-0 Irtis Kazakhstan. On Tuesday, January 25, Stefan Stoica and his players will take on another Russian team, FC Himki. Meanwhile, after a 3-1 win over Spartak Nalcik and a 1-1 draw with Tavria Ukraine, Zimbru succumbed to Amkar Perm. The Moldovans had no answer to Russian’s two goals and the match ended 2-0. Dacia Chisinau remain the only unbeaten team this winter. Their next friendly game is against Zhemciuzhina Sochi, on Monday, January 24.
